Our Wedding

Fitting for both of our personalities we met at the gym :) Nick was an intern getting his degree in exercise science and Becca was a trainer and zumba instructor. What started as coordinating schedules for his intern hours quickly turned into talking everyday. Nick asked Becca out to dinner and truly the rest is history! Within that first few months we knew that we had found something special, and so did our family and friends. As a couple we still love going to the gym together, going for walks, going to the beach, traveling to New Hampshire for outdoor activities and shopping. On more chill evenings you will find us hanging out with our families, watching Disney movies, or playing board games and Nintendo Switch (we love monopoly deal and Mario kart ! ) For those who have never gotten the chance to meet Nick: here’s a few fun facts about him! 1. He has a Bachelors in exercise science and a Masters in Strength and Conditioning: he works as a Strength and Conditioning coach for Baseball players ages 8-18. 2. When he’s doing his own workouts he is a dedicated Powerlifter! 3. He loves nature : not only does he love walks outside, hiking, kayaking : but he has a large collection of plants at home. 4. Plants are not the only thing he collects, he has an extensive rock collection! When he worked at the BSU science building he adopted an interest in rocks and minerals that has lead to 2 China cabinets full of beautiful gems, minerals, and other exciting things (fossils, petrified wood, and shark teeth) 5. Nicks other “likes” : Star Wars, Anime (Dragon Ball Z especially ), he also loves dogs and they love him even more ! For those who haven’t met Becca yet here’s a few fun facts : 1. Becca is an RN and works with pediatric patients in home care and in Early Intervention. She has her bachelors in Psychology as well as nursing degree. 2. She has been a lifelong music lover , she started dancing at 2 and singing as early as she could talk: as an adult she’s been able to keep that love of dancing alive by teaching Zumba classes for the last almost 15 years ! She loves almost all music from Broadway showtunes, to pop, to rock and everything in between. 3. She is a proud aunty to 5 beautiful girls and 1 beautiful boy: if you ever talk to her there’s a 99% chance she will talk about them , they’re her everything ! (you may get to see some of those beautiful nieces in the wedding 💐) 4. She is a loud and proud “Swiftie” and has been a fan of Taylor Swift since the very beginning : if you don’t like Taylor swift you may need to cover your ears for a song or two on the dance floor ! (Her nieces would request them even if she didn’t ! ) 5. When she’s not dancing, singing, or hanging with her nieces : she loves to read ! She took a break from reading after nursing school because reading became very difficult during that time but over the last few years she has rediscovered a love for it! 6. her other “likes” : Disney , Gilmore girls, going to concerts and musicals, and drinking ALL the coffee and Alani she can get her hands on :)

Our Story

Wedding Day Details : The ceremony will be at 3pm at the Canoe Club in West Bridgewater Ma, there is plenty of parking ! We will plan for an outdoor ceremony weather permitting, if it is a littlechilly we will still be outside so please bring a sweater or whatever you need to be comfortable. If there is rain or very cold weather it will be an indoor ceremony. Cocktail hour: 3:30-4:30 - open bar will be available during this time for those who are of age. Hors D’oeuvres will be served . 4:30-830pm : dinner / reception/dance floor . Dinner will be guests choice of Filet Mignon or Chicken Supreme. Dietary restrictions can be accommodated , please include these in the RSVP. There will be a complimentary bottle of champagne at each table. At this time the bar will be accepting cash or credit payments.Cake will be served and there will be a complimentary coffee bar available . After the ceremony :If you’d like to continue celebrating, join us at the Knights of Columbus in Whitman for a casual and fun afterparty ! Pizza and ice cream will be provided . There is a full bar and they take cash or credit !

Wedding Day Details

Hillary is Becca’s best friend of over 20 years ! Which makes both of them feel very old :)  they met as freshman in high school and pretty much instantly became inseparable ! And though Hillary’s kids think Aunty Becca exists solely to play with them, Hillary and Becca have been getting up to shenanigans since 2003: long before they were born! 10 years ago when Hillary got married, Becca was her maid of honor:  so it is a fitting, full circle moment (and my honor) to be able to have her with me on my own wedding day !

Nick is excited to have his brothers be his Best Men for his big day. His younger brother Jack is a Rhode Island resident along with his Fiancé Nicole.

Meagan is Becca’s cousin , though they grew up in the same house so feel more like sisters. Meagan is a pediatric nurse as well and she and Becca often have the same patients! Meagan lives in Middleborough with her beautiful family: her husband Joe and their two children Lila (age 2) and Noah (brand new to the world this year! ).

His brother Mike lives in West Bridgwater with his beautiful family : his wife Anaxibia, and children Gabriel and Bella (all of whom are a part of the wedding party too!) .

Anthony is married to Hillary, the Matron of honor , and a proud father of 4 beautiful girls ! He has been friends with the bride for over 15 years and quickly became a close friend of Nick’s as well.  He is the first person they call with any problem or need a helping hand (and not just so he can help with their taxes which he also does! )

Michaela is Becca’s cousin, though they grew up in the same house so they feel more like sisters. Michaela is a maternity nurse and loving dog mom to Scout. She lives in Quincy with her boyfriend Willie.

Anaxibia is Nick’s sister in law and lives with her beautiful family in West Bridgewater (they are also in the wedding party! ) . Becca and Nick are honored to have her as part of their wedding and their family !

Emily is Becca’s cousin and birthday buddy , she was born on Becca’s 18th birthday! Emily is an amazing singer and plays the piano as well. She and Becca bond over their love of music and have attended several concerts together ! She is pursuing her degree in psychology at Massasoit and plans to be a therapist !

Wedding Party

Our wedding will be located in West Bridgewater Ma , just short drive off the highway. There are some lovely airBNBs in the surrounding towns if you are looking for a more homey feel. We also have a small block of rooms reserved at the Sonesta hotel in Foxborough ma !

This hotel was recommended by our venue: it is a few exits away from the venue. If you need help with transportation please contact the bride and groom as we do not have a large out of town guest list we did not yet book transport from the hotel but are willing to help figure out the best and safest way to get everyone there :)

If you’re traveling to our area we have some great local coffee / food spots we recommend . If you’re willing to drive a little there are also some beautiful tourist spots and great places to dine in Boston or Plymouth ma! Just across the street there’s a Starbucks if you need a caffeine boost !
